Malignant Catarrh

Definition: A herpesvirus infection of cattle characterized by catarrhal inflammation of the upper respiratory and alimentary epithelia, keratoconjunctivitis, encephalitis and lymph node enlargement. Syn: bovine epitheliosis, snotsiekte.  caused by a herpesvirus; usually animal; check tag ANIMALS; don't forget also CATTLE (NIM) but do not index under CATTLE DISEASES    Other names Malignant Catarrhs; Catarrhs, Malignant; Catarrh, Malignant
