Leukocyte Count

Definition: The number of WHITE BLOOD CELLS per unit volume in venous BLOOD. A differential leukocyte count measures the relative numbers of the different types of white cells.  usually NIM; coord NIM with specific leukocyte (IM) but LYMPHOCYTE COUNT is also available; coord with disease /blood, not /physiopathol
